Tribeca Film Festival Opens Tonight!

Starting tonight and continuing through the next 12 days, New York’s favorite film festival is coming back to Manhattan.  The Tribeca Film Festival will be showing over 150 films this year, including the premiere of Jason Segel’s “The Five-Year Engagement,” which opens the festival tonight.

For those of you who will be visiting Manhattan for the first time, this is a can’t-miss event.  The Tribeca Film Festival truly captures the heart of New York each and every year.  They even offer ticket to residents of lower Manhattan before they go on sale to the general public.  This festival is not just about movies; it’s about New York.

Tickets are now available to all on a first-come first-served basis.  “The Avengers” is set to close the event on April 29th.

*UPDATE* Do you like free?  We like free.  Here are some free events being hosted by the Tribeca Film Festival.
