The east coast’s biggest and most exciting pop-culture convention, Comic Con, returns to New York City from October 10-13. The event will be held at the Javits Center and will run Thursday from 3 – 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am – 10pm and Sunday from 10am – 5pm.
For those of you not familiar with Comic Con, you’re missing out. Basically, it is a big market place that assembles the major players in the entertainment industry as well as the second largest pop-culture convention in America. Comic Con includes a show floor that hosts the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television. The weeekend also includes panels and autograph sessions that allow fans a chance to interact with their favorite creators as well as screening rooms that feature sneak peak of films and television shows months before they appear to national audiences. With last year’s show having over 116,000 attendees, this year is bound to be bigger.
