Like many holidays, come thanksgiving, the entire nation focuses on NYC. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has been one of New York City’s most fun events for 87 years, with over a million people lining the streets to get a glimpse of the floats and balloons and bands and performances.
This year, the 2013 NYC Thanksgiving parade route takes us from 77th Street and Central Park West down to Macy’s Department Store on 34th Street, via 6th Avenue.
The Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning (November 28th) and lasts until noon. It will be aired live on NBC, just in case you can’t make it to the streets to experience the parade in person.
The lineup for this year’s parade will be announced on October 28, so check back soon!
